Why choose a weighted wearable?

My weighted crocheted wearables (1.5–3.5 lbs) are inspired by the same principles as weighted blankets, which use deep pressure stimulation (DPS)—a form of gentle, evenly distributed pressure shown to help calm the nervous system.
